Not at all, there are 7 300+ towers projects in latin america:

Costanera center (300m)- Santiago de Chile....u/c
Torre Bicentenario (300m)-Mexico DF.......pro
Faros de Panama (346m)- Panama City.......u/c
Torre Platinum (300 m) Panama City.....u/c
Torrena (336 m) Guadalajara........pro
Megalopolis (Aprox. 425 m) Panama City.......pro
El Faro (+300-with antenna) Medellin........the construction starts in december.

Also there are several +250m projects in latin america, like 20 or 30.

I like it! although the seems a bit random
lets just see how it turns out
Panama city's skyline will be amazing in the upcoming years with all of these towers. Great to see it booming

Platinum tower was built in the late 90's it has only 158 meters, I do not know to what tower you're refering at.

Not at all, this is just one of many and most of them are being built in Panama City, together with Megapolis and Los Faros there are three supertalls U/C at this moment in Panama. Chile has his Costanera Center (300m) U/C and Mexico City has Torre Bicentenario (*300m) still proposal I think, Colombia has another tower near to start, and many proposals are on the table or waiting for approval. Latin America is not what it use to be and this is an example of the progress we are making.

I think Costanera. It's already rising. It's already at ground level, maybe even 2 floors above it judging from a few pics I've seen. The others are still in the excavation process.
