Yup different project. This FLI project will be at that lot beside Fairways Tower as shown in the pic below...

This should be merged with the other Filinvest project in the fort thread, pareho lang ito nakakalito.

And they should really get a better name, you can't get more generic than this.

Merged it already. I decided to stick with the "Filinvest Twin Towers" name for the thread because it describes the project better.

Maybe , they are reserving their best for FCC in the future . They do have the four tower mixed-used complex Entrata in FCC . But , BGC is booming nowadays and since Filinvest owns a lot on it , its wiser to develop it and reap on the proceeds to bankroll their next projects.

so Entrata is a filinvest development, anyway makes sense after all Filinvest was the developer of PBCom Tower in makati if I'm not mistaken

i still believe na di na tuloy ang fort victoria (so far) since inalis na nila sa website nila hehe. ala na eh. makadalaw nga sa show room ng victoria towers ng makapag-imbestiga sa mga sales people dun hahaha. halata bang ayaw ko talaga ng fort victoria sa lot na yun. ganda kasi ng pocket na yun ng BGC, masisira ng Fort Victoria. IMO, of course.

Me too excited na rin! As far as I know Filinvest will be launching this project soon, sometime around year's end or just after the New Year. Looking forward to the release of the renderings of this Arquitectonica designed building project!

Filinvest, EastWest Bank to develop BGC condo units jointly

FILINVEST Development Corp. (FDC) told the Philippine Stock Exchange on Tuesday that it signed an accord with its banking unit for a joint development project in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

In a disclosure, FDC said the agreement with EastWest Banking Corp. called for the development of the two-tower condominium Global City Residential project in the parent company’s 3,889-square-meter lot in Fort Bonifacio.

Under the agreement, the parent and its banking unit would jointly develop by contributing cash, property and technical expertise, FDC said.

Earlier, Josephine Yap, FDC president, told reporters the project would start next year and would cost between P1.5 billion and P2 billion. It has an estimated sales value of about P2.9 billion.

In a telephone interview, Nelson M. Bona, FDC chief financial officer, said that part of EastWest Bank’s operations in PBCom Tower, which is a joint development of Filinvest Asia Corp. and Philippine Bank of Communications, would be transferred to the Fort Bonifacio development once it is finished.

According to the grapevine, the commercial offices and shops will be limited to the seven-floor podium that will link the twin towers, with Gotianun’s EastWest Bank taking up the podium’s premiere space.

No less than the Miami-based Arquitectonica architectural and interior firm has been hired to design the billionaire’s most ambitious residential condo project so far.

Arquitectonica itself is no stranger to the Philippine scene, having previously designed Pacific Plaza Towers, The Podium, and the humongous Mall of Asia.

According to the grapevine, the still unnamed twin towers will have entry-level units with sizes ranging from 36-40 square-meter studios up to three-bedroom, 156-sqm corner units.

A number of lofts are also planned, with floor areas of 130 sqm each.

Pricing is yet to be finalized, but it should hover in the P100,000-sqm vicinity, considering its location, target market, and Manila Golf and Makati skyline views.

The Manila Golf-side tower will have fewer and bigger units, 152, while the west-side tower facing The Fort’s commercial complex will have 231 condos. Both towers stand 43 levels, considerably shorter than neighboring Pacific Plaza Towers’ 52-story highs.

Groundbreaking, according to the grapevine, has been slated in late January, after the holiday rush.

* Cocktales

Thanks for the heads up Frank! I'm impressed with the designs Fil-Invest have been coming up lately. Really looking forward to your posting of the renderings of the BGC project sometime in the end of the month! Lapit na to!

i just wish that architectonica would consider the immediate surroundings in their design para naman mag-complement with its neighbors yung design.

I agree San Jose Builder's Fort Victoria project in BGC has been redesigned for the better and nicely takes advantage of the huge and very prime lot which fronts 5th Avenue too. Checked out the website and was pleasantly surprised with the offering. Should compliment the FilInvest project well. Mukhang they've read the previous bashing they got here in SSCF and took it to heart. I think Fort Victoria will not be an eye-sore like previously thought but a very good addition to the growing list of BGC projects. San Jose Builders might just really surprise us with this Fort Victoria @ BGC project. For those who may be interested, the website has been reactivated: http://www.thefortvictoria.com/. Excited to see the actual project rendering for this and the FilInvest project as well! Sana nga they end-up blending well with the neighboring buildings/surroundings.
