Very interesting project, I hope it will end up getting built, would be a great addition to an already amazing skyline (probably the best one in europe imo).

Well my friend, you cannot exclude Russia from Europe, its as much Europe as France or Italy, its just eastern Europe, in fact Russia Covers Half of Europe with almost 5 mio km2, out of Europe's almost 10 mio km2.

It's approved but we won't hear anything new about it in the next years i think.
I still hope this will be build as mixed use project, with Retail, Hotel, Apartments and an Office Part.
A single using as Office Tower seems quite unrealistic to me.

I don't see this one coming soon, unless the ECB decides it needs more office space now they are going to supervise all European banks.

European union's greedy new bank expansion plan right here... But I hope Frankfurt gets a supertall anyways.

Unfortunately Frankfurt is not in need of office space right now. More than 15% of office space in the city is not occupied . And in 2014 with the completion of TaunusTurm (which is build speculative) and ECB moving in their new headquarters even more office space will be available. And other projects like Winx are under construction by then.

True - i guess before we will see this skyscraper completed, Düsseldorf has its 600m supertall! I really would like to see it though - the best Skyline in Germany/Europe deserve a supertall!

That said, i am positive there will be a few surprises this year in Frankfurt!

Frankfurt should build this to stay in competition with London and Paris for the tallest skyline in the EU, not europe anymore though, moscow is rising far above the point of being beatable
