You can't really compare these cities. Frankfurt is doing more than fine considering its size and will continue to do so. I highly doubt Paris, London or Moscow would have a decent skyline with 700k inhabitants.

I really hope this tower will rise in the future, Frankfurt deserves a supertall, especially if the other planned scrapers will be built in the near future!

Lets leave the 600m+ one to Düsseldorf .
365 m would be a perfect height to give the skyline a new impact. And of course i want to see Campanile, Metzler, Max, Hyatt, Neue Mainzer Strasse, Hochhaus am PP, Marieninsel and all the others completed!

It's not dead. But there's a similar situation like we've at the WTC in NYC. Before this tower will be build they've to find tentants for another tower which will be build next to this.

Interesting, haven't heard of this before. Do you know more about this situation and if there is hope for the nearest future?
There is so much building going on in Germany right now, they could find a solution if they really want it!

I don't know details. The other tower is called "Tower One" and is part of the skyline plaza complex. I've absolutely no notion how big the chances are to build Tower 1 in the next years.
But Frankfurt is always good for a surprise

So this basically means: Hyatt -> Tower 1 -> Millenium Tower?

If the construction of the Hyatt starts this year, which i think is one of the most probable projects, Tower 1 will follow soon, because it is part of the Skyline Placa Concept. After that the Millenium Tower finally has its neighbours...

Optimistically speaking of course...

At least it's planned like that. Let's see what will happen the next years.
