Yes, but it's absolutely clear that this tower can't be build as pure office tower. Especially not with over 300m.
The main using of it has to be hotel and residental.

it would be really great if they build it, but i doubt it, that Germany will have a new tallest building within the next 10 years.
But i would love it to be prooved wrong

Well since the UK plans to leave the EU it would be good for Frankfurt due to a loss of significance of the City of London. Which means Frankfurt would be getting more financial significance.

When all the towers from the high-rise master plan were built. Then is a realization more likely.

But I hope, i am wrong.

Europe is doing well, but let's keep things grounded in reality. 200m+ buildings under construction? Canada has 10, Mexico has 8, the US has 19, and then there's likely a few in Panama as well. Just counting the 3 NAFTA countries gets you to 37 buildings.

There is no point in comparing Europe to North America. We all know that cities of these two continents could not be more different.

They will most likely just clear the plot and let it remain empty for ages like the former land of Skyline Plaza...

They'll probably not build a copy of the Shard.

Is there a confirmed design for this tower? So much renders, I don't know which to believe!
It would be interesting to see this initiate another skyscraper boom in Frankfurt. Certainly would push the city back in competition with London, Moscow, Istanbul, and represent the power of Europe's strongest economy.

Don't hold your breath! MT won't be built anytime soon, it's very unlikely unless Brexit happens. However, some other solid projects (several 150m-180m towers) will most likely start this year.

In Germany it takes ages until some projects turn to reality due to our political system, and and and. Just remember Stuttgart 21 It took ages because of demonstrations and other issues.
And this was just a redevelopment of a main railway station. A tiny project in comparison to other cities in the world. A boom like in London, Dubai, New York or Shenzhen is very unlikely, because every project needs a ''special treatment''

S21 is a bad example. Moving the station below street level makes little to no senese and creates immense costs. It is also harder to expand it in the future.
Besides that you are absolutely right, Germany has a problem/phobia with above-average sized projects. This is a fault of both the (political/bureaucratic) system and the businesses (companies), and there is no way out

Regarding Tower 365: I doubt it is ever going to happen. If FFM ever gets a supertall it won't be in this decade, and probably also not in the next...

The main problem was, that the redevelopment causes demolishing of older buildings. But many citizens wanted to keep the historical parts of the main station. The result were demonstrations and the project was on hold for a long time. (It is u/c now again btw)
