What are we supposed to celebrate ?

The model at the Dubai exhibition is definitely a good news, but was there an announcement about the start of the construction ?

I think we definetly don't see kinda final design on all the published models and renders, it's probably going to be changed in many details, despite the fact it didn't changed its face that much since 1999...

1999, Render from Albert Speer architects

2007

That would be way to uninspiring for Germany's tallest and I think we can surely hope for a tiny surprise according to Frankfurt's superior surprising factor

Btw, I've found an aerial plan on it, including the MillenniumTower and other proposed towers of the new Europaviertel:

I like it. Height and design will perfect fit in the skyline of Frankfurt.

Fantastic news, I hope they find an investor soon. But as far as I know vivico, they will not announce something before it is definitly sure and a contract is signed. And regarding the height, vivico always mentions the net height not including technical floors, see UEC Tower 1 - 195m + technical floors = 212m. And when looking at the UEC project itsself they also try to apply the "net-rule" to the retail area...

I wrote VIVICO an e-mail last year. And they answered me. But they also said that MT will only be built when the other towers are finished, because of technical reasons and because of the saturation of the market...

It would be nice to see this built, but I highly doubt it will!

It is probably more a question of patience. I have no doubt that it will be built, the question is when. But we will see.

I scanned the brochure which I got from the Vivico.

I asked the final height , 350 m is the official but could be higher.
