Thanx for the info ... well the brochure says 350m maximum height.

damn it, that would be nearly 100 meters more than the actual german record, this project is so awesome!!!

But unless they find an anchor tenant I can't see this getting built...and in the current climate finding one may be difficult, as pretty much every project in London is discovering...

there is a boom in frankfurt right now. all new projects (and there are several coming up now) have anchor tenants - in the past few weeks we had surprising news about several new skyscraper projects - all of them have anchor tenants.
there has never been a better time for a new skyscraper in frankfurt than now. the rents are rising, the vacancy rates are falling and there are no large spaces in the city center available anymore.

That the kind of news I like.

Hopefully, a couple of large projects will materialize, and not only a dozen of medium-size skyscrapers.

the projects are all over 150m. but nothing revolutionary, apart from the ecb maybe. and the millennium tower isn't exactly state of the art either. unfortunately ...

that's correct, the design is really nothing specieal. neither at all the new towers nor on MT but better than nothing definitely

I agree. Ive never liked this boring design. A supertall would be great for Frankfurt but not this one.

Millenium Tower is like "we'll be on mars in 2050"!
Frankfurt won훦 have a supertall for anytime! Why should they have one? You can't compare Frankfurt with New York, Paris oder London!
Too small for a supertall! It wouldn't be profitable!

the size of a city has little to do with the height of a highrise. now thats one silly argument. how old are you, 12?

a little disappointed hannoveraner
hannover hasn't even one skyscraper. go ahead bashing frankfurt, but you have to admit, the chance for supertalls in ffm is higher than in hannover. envy frankfurt, but everyone else (no matter if they are from frankfurt or not (even I'm not from ffm )) would be happy when it's going to be built. you ought to shut up. you suck, jerk!

I like the building, but the name is quite tacky, unimaginative and of course a little tardy
Frankfurt is the right place for it, at least in germany. It would be very alone in cities like berlin hamburg or munic, where is no accumulation of highrises, which could snuggle it
