I was surprised too. The information originally came from the official site, I believe, and was posted in the CS thread around the end of September. They did not say what floor it was on. What they actually said was that every penthouse would have a direct elevator line from the ground to the floor, and that the longest elevator would be 568m. Taken together, of course, this gives us the highest residential floor.

The exact height of the CS top floor would be 1865 ft or 568.6m. It is not clear as Hollie said what that top floor would be.

I wonder if the steel section will be clad with glass or reflective metal sheeting. I have a feeling this was mentioned before but I can't find the answer. This is just me dreaming but it would be cool to have an exclusive bar somewhere in the middle of the steel section with glass all around you.

Or get stuck like James Bond, Bruce Willis, Arnie etc and have to climb out of the top of it!

The picture is looking southwest. The camera is next to/above Trade Centre Roundabout and looking toward Dubai Marina and Abu Dhabi.

lev156 will be double that height at 6.4m as will lev157. then lev158 & lev158mez will be back to 3.2m high.

in my diagram ive just rounded figures

Yeah, that's correct I have 6.4m too, not 8.3m, but like urban.kovak said maybe it includes the mountings for the next level too?

I dont see the difference between 200m shafts and 500m shafts. If you fall, you are dead in either kind.

btw, Culwulla, Warsawa? Thats half way between the real name and the eglish name,

This way all the cladding on the mech floors will be finished early then the regular floors.

The lack of growth recently certainly made this thread go slower. People will be surprised when they check the thread after the steel goes up in full speed.
