Hi

I just registered here to show my Lego model of BD

After months of planing I finally finished my virtual Burj Dubai

(Pic = Link)

HIGH RESOLUTION PICTURE

This set will be updated periodically with more pics of the virtual building and also with the recent state of the real one. The finished model will be 2m tall.

Hope you like it.

Thank you
a spa? wth??? and are you talkin about the red lights use to warn plans where the building is?

The film has nothing at all to do with Dubai or the Burj, the film is a super low budget crap production set in the american midwest or in someone's back yard. The designer just wanted to spice up the cover, but was too lazy to add some more convincing destruction to the buildings and just left it as is... so, apparently in 20 years we will know it is the apocalypse when the burj and BB returns to it's 2007 appearance

Hi Altin.

Both cranes are still there. The smaller crane mast can be seen near the bottom of the larger facing away from the camera. Also both lines and hooks can be seen.

Hi Library.

A beakdown of the levels with lights on in 234's shots (thanx 234 by the way);

- the first shot - level 113 - boutique office.
- the second shot - level 124 - observation as Altin pointed out.
- the third shot - level 135 - boutique office/mechanical/electrical. Also some boutique offices on levels 141 and 142.
- the fourth shot - most of the Armani hotel, Armani residences, and hotel residences - to level 39. Also the first few residence levels starting at 44. Also the first few luxury residential levels starting at 78.
- the fifth shot of the cranes shows one of the luxury residences on level 96 lit.

Fury...
Anyone...
At some point aren't we supposed to be seeing some sexy light fixtures of some sort in those round holes in the pinnacle pipe which are below each fin? Or are those now only for ventilation?
