That's what we always thought. They'll hose off the accumulated solid dirt first and then the BMU will do the job they're supposed to do.

Those pictures look amazing indeed and the Burj Dubai turned out to be an amazing tower not only in height but in design and final looks too.

Still wondering why they painted the lake with 2 different colors... who came up with that idea?! :s
I mean, does anyone actually like how that turned out? It looks like a failed attempt to some visual illusion trick but I can hardly believe they really failed so hard and didn’t even try to fix it so there must be another explanation...

In this photo, there are two buildings on the right side, in front of the Burj Dubai, with cranes on top of them. Are these two building still being built or are they cancelled or stopped or postponed?
If they were finished before Burj opens, it would have been nice.

Anyway, Burj is fantastic.

From this photo, it looks like there is a lot more work to be done to the landscaping and also a lot of buildings near the Burj needs to be finished.
I would not be surprised, if it took 1 year to complete all the work.

P.S: one question. Are these palm trees native to the desert? Or, they grow only in big pots with a lot of irrigation?
