At first, I thought this mammoth project was hideous, but it's turning out to look pretty nice. Although I still wouldn't say it's a great design for the world's tallest building, when the landscaping is done and all the neighboring buildings are complete, it'll look impressive.

I just watched the episode and now and I can't believe the participants hadn't got a Clue of which the tallest building in the world is ...hell, most of them didn't even know where the Persian Gulf was

Yet they get the chance to travel around the world and they where granted access to the Burj Dubai, even when they clearly have no idea about it...how frustating it is!

So @Imre, the exterior part of Burj Dubai is almost complete, yes? I say almost because there are few works to go, like the lights in the below photo;
btw, that space with the lights, looks like a balcony... It is a balcony or will be using for another purpose?

Does somebody know if they really use desalinated water? I see no problem if they use salty seawater and change it frequently so the salt concetration does increase to much.

Nice one.

I kept intending to set this fountain "exercise" show to the soundtrack from Close Encounters where the alien ship lands, but never got around to it -

Got to love them. Who else would think or be surprised by the fact that the Persian Gulf is not a country.

The part at the airport check in was hilarious "two tickets to the Persian gulf please"

I am actually surprised that they didn't end up in Taipei.

People on reality TV shows don't actually represent the average American, thankfully.
