Would that be the 76th floor perhaps?

Come on, I'm not quite stupid enough to not know the difference between the third and fourth mechs Of course everyone knows about the new above third.

I was talking about this

to my eyes, I could almost convince myself that there were maybe 3 windows there and a fourth being lowered into place, but looking more, I think not...it's too small to be windows, plus OTR says nothing happening there.

Also that steel went up seriously fast! Thinking about it though this also happened on the SWFC.
He he, I was just kidding and got a little carried away. And for the steel, if you've got a few thousand workers on site it's bound to happen.

Hi all.

Imre's excelent shots show level 156 at 6.4 meters. Looks like they are keeping true to the plan. The vertical bits do look approx 8 meters as mentioned a few pages back by Skytower but the horizontal bits look like 6.4 as they are supposed to be.

Levels 139 to 154 are 4.8 meters. 155 and 155 Mezz. are 6.4 ( 3.2 each ). Then 156 ( the first steel level )at 6.4 meters. Here is the next few levels.

This thing is awesome.

why didn't they get the glass facade done along with the building getting taller and taller. it is much easier to do that while the cranes are still there, right?

That was the plan untill the Swiss contractor who was supposed to do it went bust and the Europe-sourced glass and cladding falied the tests continuously and the developer was forced to look elsewhere (China and UAE), to replace both the materials and the contractor.

There will be concrete platforms as the ones on the other 2 sides of the concrete part.

i hope the join between the concrete and steel is seemless. as opposed to there being a slight indentation in the cladding.
