Right. Back to 'normal' pics:

I walked all the way round the Burj today for the first time. A few samples...

wow! awesome photos.
what kind of camera do you use?

Now I can see there is a lot more work to do around the BD.
Do you think all this could be done in a month?

Cheers. Camera is a Canon 5D MkII. Lens for the walkaround photos was a Sigma 12-22mm. Those are about 10% of actual size (reduced horizontally and vertically by 30%).

Regards the BD itself, the landscaping around it is far more complete than you might think from those photos. In fact, I'd say that 2 sides are pretty much done already.

Oops. Sorry Dennis - didn't mean to ignore you!

Taken from the base of the Residences. I just sat patiently for an hour and a half while the camera did its thing

Great landscaping shots 234sale - could you post up a sample comparison from your last batch (I'm too lazy to hunt back for the post!)?

One more of these -2 shifted shots from the 17mm stitched together (original file is around about 32MP IIRC):

This looks wierd?

It is great software, still getting to know it.

So great I went quad core to increase render times.. But at home on that netbox which takes a lot longer.

Yeah - top section is out of focus, so looks bloated?

It is very clever, but not perfect. Took me three hours to configure the 75-shot pano I did this morning of the Burj (200mm). I think I've got it set up right. Problem is, it'll take a bloody long time before I find out if it's OK. 400mm panos of the Burj (like I tried last week) are just too much like hard work though. Don't think I can be bothered to try to do one again.

I'm speechless I remember when the first pics were posted on the construction of this tower and it is finally (almost) done.It looks better that what I anticipated it would look like. You really have to applaud the constructions workers that work day and night to finish such an amazing edifice.Keep on posting pictures they look great.
