wow! amazing photos. that canon 5d is amazing.
The cladding is still going on.
landscaping is going on.

One question: each of these palm trees are sitting in its own large planters, right?
It has to be. Because nothing grows in plain sand, right?

I wonder if Sewer water alone is sufficient for all these greenery all around Dubai?
There must be more greenery in dubai than in London.

Wonder how the fit-out is progressing with Armani/Residences? Can't wait to have a peek! Should be an awesome experience to call this tower home..

Hi PG.

...................................

Are you hinting at something like a change of your residence ?

Do Tell

The lights are on on those levels in every night shot these days so there must be work going on 24/7.

Great updates guys - wow.
The landscaping is really moving along.
I need to look over today's shots so I can post on ... - stuff ... - need more time in a day ...

Missing Cladding

Yes, as I mentioned in previous post, that sort of just slid by everyone, my guess is the Emaar maybe doing quality control acceptance inspections and testing on all those top panels and they are rejecting some. Many of the 'holes' we are seeing are probably cladding panels that had to be replaced or fixed because they were defective or installed wrong. In gerald.d and Imre's current photos you can really see lots of locations completely at random where there are now cladding panels missing where I sure thought everything was once fully covered. At least that's my theory - they aren't gonna write that last check for the cladding until everything has passed inspections and has been signed off on. Pretty standard bit of construction business actually.

It's awesome to see the landscaping being installed. It already looks great and it's not even close to being finished. Can't wait to see what it looks like in a year or two when the plants have matured.

The cranes are gone. How are they going to lift the new cladding panels up? Using the BMUs?

There will be an observatory (forget the floor) around 450 meters.

Why would they otherwise call it a Observatory?

Think so. I don't believe some of those missing panels were always absent (as to speak)

I think he's asking if it's open for everybody or residents and hotel guests only.

At Millions of $ a pop, these apartments are expensive.
I would assume there are millions of millionaires in this world and they all want an apartment in Dubai.

The access is from inside the Dubai Mall (as it was reported a number of times here).
