It has developed unnaturally in that Dubai is very much now the product of unimaginable amounts of investment in the hope that there is enough demand globally to support what is being constructed. Natural growth in my opinion is one that has grown as the needs of the population have developed and the various operating systems within it's core appreciate this.
Hi Erebus.

Touche - good comeback.
I agree Dubai has its towers along SZR but things will fill in given time. The city is very young comparatively. As for the WTS - it has never been all about the needs of the population and the WTS is what this thread is for.

This is just zoomed pic from the 125th floor , the windows still not clean there but I found a small gap which was cleaner.

You will see better pics soon with wide angle lens and without glass.

Just a question maybe you or Fury will know , which floor is the Tier 19 where is the BMU ?

We went to the floor 160th from the 149th , after the 160th some stairs into the 160 Mezz 1 or 2 , after we used a "small" elevator and went up another 6 floors , after we had to climb by ledder.

So maybe 168-169 ?

If you can post the draw it would be nice , I will post the photos afternoon

Hi Imre.

The last named level is 160 mezz. 3 which is the start of tier 18. After that there is 6.4 m. sections up to the top of tier 23. The small elevator you took is BS4 and by the plans it goes up to the top of tier 18. It's possible each section could be considered 2 "floors" as further up there is a set of stairs with a landing every 3.2 m. but the official count ends at the highest named level - which is the 162nd level counting the mezz's and the skipped levels.

IMRE - those pics inside the spire are amazing. They remind me of some old photographs of the maze of wooden beams inside the spire of Salisbury cathedral I once saw in a book. That spire is about 700 years old!

Every other building in the city looks so tiny from that height. I think I would pee in my pants standing in that BMU being that high....lol. Nice pictures, amazing video Imre.
