Great shots Imre - can't deny that the scale of this thing and the views from it are impressive! Quite a fortunate gentleman, you are!

Let's be honest though - luck really doesn't come into it.

Meanwhile, I've been scaling the dizzy heights of the 4-Point again.

Untouched shots (apart from of course reducing the size of them) - these were the genuine colours just an hour or so ago...

Hi all.

Here is a crop from one of Imre's fantastic shots.

I see they don't call the highest elevator BS4 for some reason - instead it is called Pega something (I can't make out the second word). The plans I have only showed it going from level 160 to tier 18 and i surmised it went to section 18B. Nice to see an official list.

So the worlds highest elevator goes from level 160 to section 18B - of which the floor is at 636.9 meters.

Thanks @Imre for those very nice interior photos, i hope to come more.
All the exterior areas like in the photo above will have wooden floors?

Imre, the page 1089 photos were outstanding. You have outdone yourself.

Seems like it was a relatively clear day for the tier 19 photos. It's wonderful that you got the opportunity to get inside the steel section.

The pictures posted over the last few days have really brought this structure to life. Up to now, the building was somehow 'inanimate' if that makes any sense? They have also helped me appreciate the massive scale.

THANK YOU!

Hi all.

I was looking through Imre's shots from in the steel section (I shouda/couda smoked a cigarette after ...) and I noticed they applied fire protection on all the steel members of level 160, 160 mezz 1, and 160 mezz 2. It's almost a guarantee all the steel levels below (156 to 159) and probably 160 mezz 3 above are also fire protected.

I am slightly surprised that starting at section 18A there is no fire protection on the steel members. I guess because above 160 mezz 3 the sections have no real uses or anythig that burns it is not needed by code.
