Hi Christos.

I don't have an official list but here are the best numbers I can compile - some could be from the 705 m. revision but they should be close as there is not much changed up to level 108 compared to the current revision.
- Armani hotel - level 5 to 8, 38, 39 - 172 units.
- Armani hotel residences - level 9 to 16 - 152 units.
(144 is thrown around alot but the drawing I have shows 152)
- Hotel residences - level 19 to 37 - 486 units.
- Residences (apartments) - level 43 to 72 - 354 units.
- Luxury residences - level 76, 78 to 108 - 231 units.
- Boutique offices - level 112 to 121, 123, 125 to 135, 139 to 154 - 38 levels.
(I don't think there is a set number of offices - they will set them up to suit the tennants)

so pretty much looking at around 1400 units right ? thats alot!
i was on burj dubai.com and i notice it said on facts and figures and it mentions spire maintenance elevator, and it say's "contain the highest elevator installation" is the CTBUH going to count that elevator as the highest in the world ?

Haha, the picture is great. I'm talking about the fact that BD is actually scraping the sky.

And you could just be linking to someone else's large version, no? I guess you'd have credited them, though.

Regardless, thanks, ha.

Maybe RAW is a bit extreme on your 5D
I cannot tell from the photo, how far back is the BD.
Is this park / forest area part of BD complex?
Or is it far away from the BD complex.

Anyway beautiful photo and beautiful garden area.

Sorry for going OFF TOPIC, but just a little question...
When are they going to complete the intersection between SZR and Doha Street? Looks like it's been the same for ages...

Thanks anticipately

This building is utterly remarkable. I have been fortunate enough to see/go up the Taipei 101, Petronas Tower, Sears, WTC, Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building.

The Burj Dubai truly deserves all the accolades that it will get. This building pushes the boundaries of what humanity can do... sheer and vertiginous... just like a skycraper should be.... it really does scrape the beautiful blue sky in a way that very few other buildings can.

And it is beautiful - only the crown of the Chrysler Building matches it in the list I've just given of the World's tallest buildings over the past century.

So not bad, it not just the tallest but one of the very best.

To the Burj!
