Hi all.

Another great round of updates guys - fantastic.

Hi Imre.

good to see you found the safety board again. I had extrapolated approx 75 million manhours a few months ago with 12,000 workers. Looks like I was pretty close - 89 million now. A giant project indeed. A question on the 14,000 workers ? A month or so ago you were wondering how can that many get to the site daily. Do you think there is 14,000 or is that not the case ? Like you were saying there would be a big fleet of busses parked somewhere or a flood of the blue man group getting on and off the metro daily - have you seen this ?

Hi Gerald.

Yes that is the building I am referring to. It is triangular and must be 30 meters long. It looks to be 2 or 3 levels high. If it is just a landscaping feature it is a big one.

Hi Land.

I was asking about the small triangular building on the outside of the pool annex a while ago. It is right beside the tennis courts but I'm not sure if it is related.
For you and FM and Library.
The structure in front of the office entrance is a fountain. Should be cool when it is up and running.

Hi Library.

I think the triangular bits are just landscaping features. Not sure if one can walk on them after completion or not.

Charlotte .......

Fantastic photos imre..

what is this building on the left side bottom corner; sever stories high, under construction with two cranes sticking up?
is this another skyscraper in the BD complex or just low rise office building?

Another question: From these details, I cannot imagine landscaping being completed in one month... unless ofcourse the landscapers are supermen.

That's standpoint residences which is on hold. Hopefully they will restart it soon (maybe once BD and other Emaar developments in the marina are done)

I said before that the 12000 workers impossible but after the site visit I would say the 14000 right with all sub-contractors ,Al Futtaim Carillion (lake and landscaping) etc.. workers.

I checked and saw 5 areas for the busses, maybe they have more, behind the Dubai Mall, behind The Lofts , close to the Boulevard Plaza, next to the Palm District Building, close to the Emaar site offices.

Also plenty of minibus ,pick-up,cars etc.. they can park inside the Burj which is not visible from outside but when I was there the parking area was busy.

So I believe the 14108 workers now

explain to me why they need a new CEO? this is just my preconception but my hunch is this has something to do with the 25th and Dubai World.

Look at that! There are fountains and pools and water flows everywhere in Dubai.

For god sake, stop repeating that water costs $1 gallon. because some nobody said it has in this thread, doesn't make it the truth.

I am fully aware who he is and his position in Emaar, and if the news here is correct he is one of the casulties related to recent events in the news.

The media is using CEO as the position.

I also like how the main entrance is coming along. It looks like a separate building:
