Sorry, but this is the original and only size I have. You could always just try blowing it up, but I think the quality of this particular photo will diminish though.

It's gonna cost a fortune relabeling/re-branding and replacing all of this stuff. No doubt collectors/opportunists will be tripping over themselves to get as much of this stuff as they can while it still exists and then it's straight on to ebay, etc...

Iranians are not Arabs.

A CNN program which shows Burj Khalifa in other cities.

I found this report:
Nearly all major skyscrapers in the world are associated with crises-
Empire State Building: the Great Depression;
Sears Tower: the Oil Crisis;
PETRONAS Towers: the Asian Financial Crisis;
Shanghai World Financial Centre: the Asian Financial Crisis;
Burj Khalifa: the Global Financial Crisis.
Coincident? Or something else?

Looks like you are right.....didn't know that, guess I'll have to retract that statement. I still think it would be stupid for Iran to attack a neutral country.

NOT perfect by any means, but pretty good nonetheless. No place in this world is immune from corruption or the exploitation of his fellow man.

Calm down man. Let people celebrate and we will think about other towers later. We are probably not going to stick the Shanghai Tower thread because it's not going to be the tallest.

No, this thread is only for the world's tallest building. Shanghai Tower is not aiming to be the world's tallest building, so why would should it be at the top?

Ping'An IFC maybe even taller than Shanghai Tower, we don't know yet. But either way, neither will be the world's tallest.

The one thing they have in common is that audacious projects usually come late in an economic boom cycle so that often by the time they are complete, there has been a correction. Living in Albuquerque, I always know we are near a recession when someone starts planning to build a skyscraper The Burj took 5 years to build, time enough for anyone's fortunes to change. What I hope that report also stated was that in time, all of these towers filled with tennants and enjoyed a long iconic and successful run. The Burj will not break that pattern either.
