I can only find amateur HD videos on YouTube but I would really love to see the whole event, including the helicopter shots in HD.

Don't worry. The Burj is built in an unsustainable city, no long term employment opportunities, no domestic product it can sell abroad, no money, no skills and poor education, I could go on for ages. It also an urban planning nightmare, they haven't event got sanitry systems.

I'm predicting the city will be derelict in 20 years time. Just my opinion.

English mineral water. 480 bottles only (I've had this confirmed by the suppliers). All hand numbered, decorated with the Burj logo and Swarovski crystals.

Not really sure what to do now, and if truth be told, I'm a little disappointed because I'm told the view is amazing.

Anyone else taken their wife or girlfriend up the Khalifa yet? Reckon it's worth the discomfort?
Better check with local laws first, Im sure that taking her up the burj was illegal in the UAE

Do you guys have a video of the Khalifa Tower 's inauguration?(I mean the fireworks & stuff)

At least a tower that my compatriot Alain Robert aka "Spiderman" won't be capable of climbing IMO...(Owing to the strengh of the wind at such an altitud)
