The armani hotels are only 5 star hotels aren't they? I prefer hotel rooms in BD than Burj al arab.

Yup only 5 stars. Burj Al Arab in the pictures above is 7 stars. I stayed there once for one night and I almost got a stroke when I saw the bill. lol Armani should be much cheaper.

If you check the last page, the person thought it was the Armani interior. That is why I thought it would be a major rip off if they copied it.

Just another case of a BS posting that has nought to do with the BK.

Exactly what Neil was saying yesterday.

There's a viral e-mail circulating saying that those pics are from the interior of BK....and a lot of people are believing it.

I think images of Burj Al Arab showcased as interiors of BK, which are false and need to be clarified as a fact that they are not from BK is a legitimate posting concerning BK.

Currently there is no structural construction on BK apart from interiors and landscaping. What else is there to post about?

Burj Al Arab was completed in 2000, 10 years ago, style and taste was different. It may look gwady, but the quality is amazing.

It was designed as timeless, so even if styles change, it will feel the same.

Mirrored cellings, 3 choices of pillow, your own bulter for your room.
Think if you were a member of a royal family or president, this quality is acceptable.

Trust me, if you get to visit or stay, it leaves an impression on you.

what does it mean "tacky" ? can you explain?
May be you can show us some photos of your home and village?
I would like to see what you consider "excellent".
Let us see your bathroom (or outhouse , whichever one you are using).
Let us see the opulence you are used to.

what are you basing this opinion on?
Most of the people who pass such opinions are bums who never left their villages.

Burj Al Arab is a world recognized 7 star hotel where people of style and substance prefer to stay at least for a day in their life times.
I've never been to this magnificent landmark. But I have read the opinions of people who have stayed there.

A bit like Las Vegas, some would consider this Tacky. Others think it is a amazing with its lights and buildings.. Some even say Vegas is romantic..
Maybe like the chrome coverings that automotive manufactures do to plastics or cheap metal. Or a fake iPhone, not as good as an original.
If you were describing something as Tacky, you are stating that you find the design in bad taste, fussy design and quality cheap. I can see why people look at it as some cheap knock off, but the Burj Al Arab is the real thing, Real Gold, all the flower displays are done on the day,, it’s not fake.

Tacky would be the cheap copies they sell in tourist shops, they are tacky.

If you came to Dubai, you would probably enjoy it as an experience.
