I know it's been amost a month, but here is the nostalgic moment. I don't know if my fellow "Dubaians" (who post from Dubai) realized this, but at this very moment most of us were at the same place at the same time observing this beauty being inaugurated.

given the economy, I agree with you, there won't be many people entering or exiting the building.
But, how would anybody navigate that magic roundabout?
I bet, they do not have any roundabout like that in USA.

Hi Monkey.

Your right - I didn't notice the traffic lights untill I looked at some other pics. Here the traffic lights are above the lanes, not beside like these are.

Wow... This is not complicated, this is beyond comprehension.

PS: I did understand how to make my way but if I didn't see this in advance i would have been on your evening's news.

Have you guys ever driven in Dubai?

There are no driving rules, no lane discipline, and no policing unless there is an accident

This is a city that spends billions on a road infrastructure like the Defense Roundabout that in any other city would revoltionize the road system, but here a Pakistani driving a little white bus can **** up the full system, and take three lanes out of commision just by parking at a spot he thinks is OK in his braindead mind.

There will never be a huge line waiting to join the Boulevard as long as there is a free gap to dodge the que.

Dubai police and the RTA are trying everything possible to change this driving madness, but as long as the untrained, uneducated idiots are allowed on the rodas, both chaos and death counts will never improve.

If Microsoft had to develop a Dubai road driving simulator, it would be fairground dodgems driven by chimpanzees smoking ciggies and drinking Budweiser.

Imágenes realmente muy buenas. No cabe duda que Dubai es la perla de oriente y hasta del mundo.

Greetings from Mexico!

There were 4 (four) of us at the same place and same time, except one that hasn't been much active lately, the other two are here everyday ... even today.

Cheers to you guys

I was in front of The Palace Hotel with company. I had no idea there was a SSC BD inauguration meeting spot.

In general we witnessed it live at the same time. Nothing better than seeing this in person. Hope everybody had a good time.

Cheers

Obviously not the little picture you have in your head of a blanket of white.

Imagine the picture with the varying sunrise effects, sunset effects, cloud movement effects, shapes and shadows etc.

Every day different from the last, and when its clear watch the world go by

Love your signature, its great to have a reliable kunt.
