Yep, that's what you only can do to prevent that. Unfortunately even though you do watermark them but if it's at corners, the internet robbers will just crop the pic and get away with it. However, sometimes they'll realise that they've killed their work.

That is why your have it in the middle of what you intended to shoot and obviously transparent enough to not ruin the image.

That what I was thinking, but about how it could ruin the image. Higher transparancy is recommended. I saw lots of images before with these kind of watermarks before. This makes it almost not recoginisable in most situations. That was the case for me.

Maybe this could be recommended to Imre and 234 in the future to avoid copyright issues, but nvm about it now, back OT.

Yeah, I'd pull all of my more marketable images and watermark them right in the centre. It's the only way to thwart the thieves. And if a company uses that work, it doesn't cost a lot of money to get a lawyer to send them a nasty letter of demand for payment. Who knows? Sometimes a little nastygram can get results!

This is exactly why i don't want to put the best pictures up, let alone these ones in high resolution.

Photoshop can clean up this image. so, putting OTR all over will not protect you from copying.
Just post a low res picture.
that way they won't have a high res picture.
that is the only protection you are going to get.

this boathouse has to be at the same level as the lake.
Is it below the B2 parking level ?

I browsed through over a dozen pages in this extensive thread and am still amazed at the architecture and effort that went into the design of this building. The building is an engineering marvel and the people of Dubai/U.A.E should be extremely proud.

I am looking forward to the virtual tours/galleries of some of the Armani hotel suites.

To photoshop that image so it wouldn't have the watermarks wouldn't be worth the time.
