Seeing that post, i may ask again: the entrance to the heighest levels of Burj Khalifa, including in the top of the spire are open-pass to every one?

Is that true? That would be a shame. Is it because of the dangers of being blown off the place? Also, I read somewhere that a lot of the steel used in this building came from the old palast of the people in Berlin. If that is the case, this building should stand a very long time. That palast was built like a fortress.

You have to climb 60 meters of ladders, health and safety nightmare for public. The insurance would be astranomical.

It's time to lock this thread until real news comes

It's time to lock this thread until real news appears regarding the opening of facilities, and re-opening of the OB-deck.

The recent post - in Portugese - contains much inaccurate and outdated information - and many posts have become irrelevant.

There are some quality photographs being put up, but these can wait -

Let's lock the thread for a month or whatever until proper news appears, and until we get a proper explanation of what happened on Feb 6, what's being done to fix those problems and when they expect it to be done.

Can provide a way for Fury or PG etc. etc. to provide news when they get it, but until then let's have a break from all that stuff that has nothing to do with the Burj. There are other places for that.

Please consider

OK, I wont post an more up to date images here again.

Every image is taken on the day, I'm sure some appreciate the effort even though I would take pictures anyway.

As to Feb 6th the lift gear motor went capute, to order another and test it will take a couple of months.

They have openned up more of the entrance and I'm sure Imre's snapping away as I speak, so you won't want to see those images either.

We have to remember that the age of forum users varies from 13 - 90, so some people will ask obvious questions. Other won't have the patients to give you such a detailed answer.

It's unuseful to get a name on a photo.

If you read back a few pages you will understand why all the pictures now have very visible watermarks. Some of the pictures posted here were hijacked by others without proper permission. The photographers who took the pictures rights should be protected. They're only posted here to be viewed and used for personal use by members of this forum. Without the watermark they could and would be used elsewhere.

I hate watermarks but all the UAE members have images stolen by real estate companies. WITHOUT Permission...'

This is because most UAE agents are lazy and know nothing.

If it is "It's unuseful to get a name on a photo." then understand I made it diifucult for a Ali Barbar, to steal off me.
