And why would it do that?

Let's lock the thread for a month or whatever until proper news appears, and until we get a proper explanation of what happened on Feb 6, what's being done to fix those problems and when they expect it to be done.

Can provide a way for Fury or PG etc. etc. to provide news when they get it, but until then let's have a break from all that stuff that has nothing to do with the Burj. There are other places for that.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Don't lock this thread! I love all the wonderful photos of Dubai and it's environs taken by these brave photographers. I also appreciate the pertinant details of their reports, thank you very much. No need for hastiness or rudeness. MOST people appreciate the information that these guys are putting out to the WORLD, something so badly needed for people that do not live in the middle east can come to learn and love our fellow Earthlings much better. Hiding behind veils does nothing to promote fellowship or goodwill amongst Gods people, no matter where they live on Planet Earth! Thank You, and Have a Great Day!!!

You mean people stopped buying Golfs and Polos after VW AG introduced the Bugatti Veyron?

Why is that? You know the grounds isn't 100% done. But the photos should prove me wrong if there's evidence. Besides, we want to see creations from our photographers each.

Where does it come from the 604 m deep of the concrete foudations in the lower figure?
I knew they were "only" 50 m.
Is it correct?

Hi viger.
No ...
The 194 tower piles are 43 meters deep and don't go down to bedrock as they are skin friction piles.

Hi Library.
I also have to disagree with the idea of locking this thread.
There will always be the irrelevent posts - they have been there from the first page of the first thread (this is the 30th thread in this section of the forum).

On another note I am intrigued by 234's post about "opening more of the entrance".
Need specifics ...

I thought Imre would be covering that.

Gerald got so close he could touch the Burj, but he wont share photo's as agents nic them.

Lots has been finished recently.
