Its a photoshopped picture, nothing more than pure fantasy. Should be easy to see, since when was Burj al Arab located next to Rose Tower?

ah ok thanx...yeah for the part of burj al arab being next to sheik zayed road i knew it was fake...but nevertheless i thought this bridge was in project

talking about bridge, there was a mega project of a bridge with multi span in dubai...something with 20 lanes with the metro running in the center lane and an opera along the way

has it been canceled with the crisis or what ?

I assume you are thinking of 6th crossing? (Picture of 6th Crossing) Haven't heard anything that they have cancelled the project, so its alive i hope? I bet it won't be completed anytime soon though, work might be delayed.

Anyway, this is not the thread to discuss these projects.

That rant that you posted was entirely jocular and it was meant as a dig at your crass behavior.

To clarify for all other posters, Old Town Resident comes onto the UK Skybar's weather thread and posts nothing more than the words 'Sunny Intervals' to describe Dubai's weather and has done so for months and months, if not years. It's just really tiring and boring.

Oh Dear oh Dear, Pissed in someones cornflakes, or is this the over sensitivity of Weegies? Was it the Celtic v Ross County score, or that time of the month?

Complaints that I posted over the years that the weather was "sunny intervals" in Dubai!

I wish it would snow here so I could change it!

Anyway back on topic and leave the WT to the nutters

I recently visited Dubai and while inside the hotels I felt a sensation of being in a more relaxed version of a Western country. Then I walked outside, felt the heat of the sun, and saw the busses full of borrowed labor, and realized I was far from home.

I did like Dubai though, yet would probably enjoy the neighboring countries in their simplicity more.

I did use a tripod but up to that point I never used manual adjustments and the noise is indeed due to the ISO800 fixed by the Landscape mode I used. But I will not do that anymore ... I guess i would have to pay another visit, but I'll be doing Marina first

It was strange that the night became that clear cause till near the sunset the area was covered in a blanket of fog and the tower was hardly visible from a few kms away.
