(The stitching isn't perfect - particularly around the left hand side of the Burj, but it could be tidied up, it's just a matter of finding the time to do it.

I'm seriously considering re-taking that with the 1.4x extender added. If I were to, it would break the world record for the largest digital picture ever taken. )

Dubai is a really beautiful city! I think The Burj Khalifa is amazing 828 metres. I visited the Observation deck when i was there, the view is really nice.

Just wondering though, if Moscow is so great, how come so many of your ladyfolk come to Dubai to work as hookers?

Hi all.

Here is a shot from Flickr - Drum 881 - taken 10 04 18 from the OD.
Click for much larger.

I was inquiring about the landscaping yesterday ...
From this angle it is looking completed.

On the left we see part of the hotel side podium at level 1. The planted areas look great. The roadways and security building look to be done.

We get a good view of the solar panels on the roof of the office annex in the middle.

On the right we see part of the office side podium at the concourse level. Beside the office annex we can see the large set of stairs connecting the 2 podiums which have a 10 meter height difference. The restaurant and water features look complete. The planted areas look done. There are still a couple of things there that will be removed - orange tops.

The terraces we can see all look tidy and clean.

The hotel is opening soon and the Armani residences are to be handed over so it makes sense that side would be complete or very near it. The office side looking as complete as it does may mean office handovers could begin soon. Handovers for the other 4 areas besides the Armani residences were to begin in April. If the residence podium is looking as complete as the office side April or May might be possible.
