Teddy bear's smiles always look a little melancholic in my opinion, so I'm not surprised this poor little fella took the fast way out.

Two things I still can't get over are the fact that they call the observation deck "At the Top" when you're really like, what? Halfway up? Haha...I know it's all about branding, but still...

And the fact that the "lake" looks absolutely horrendous with that fake turquoise and dark blue color (even with half the desert dumped in it, haha)--just a few pages back we saw some other lakes that had a much more natural all super dark color to them--they should've definitely gone with that.

Oh well, at least the tower's great.

your clearly out of touch with the experience AT THE TOP, its not about a observation deck, its a experience starting from the moment you enter the mall to purchase a ticket and flow thru the structures exhibits and themed music, ending with a mind tingling finalie, back to the exit. Try having a look on youtube at some of the posts there , you might want to change your mind.

or if youve got a better example in florida do let us know..

The lake/fountain basen ooks GREAT as it is! Whoever says otherwise has no idea what's talking about.

It was never supposed and it can NOT be a natural-like lake.

Questions to residents

Does anybody live in the Caliph Tower as yet?

How do you handle inviting guests and having them let in the building?

Solo puedo decir que es realmente increible, algo sorprendente. Dubai es la ciudad del futuro.

I only can say that is really amazing. Dubai is the future city.

I will be in Dubai in June and was hoping to purchase advance tickets for the Burj Khalifa Observation Deck but they still have 'coming soon' on their website!

Does anyone know whether this 'coming soon' is going to become reality soon or should we just buy the tickets from the ticket office?

The web site has not been set up yet, but generally you can turn up at The Mall where the Q's are now smaller and buy on the spot, book for later in the day, or the next very easily.

All for AED 100
