Hi all.

The Armani hotel is doing quite well.
Here is a vid from AMEinfo.

Here is a youtube vid with numerous interior shots. From the view out the windows they appear to be from the hotel residences and the residences.

Here is a little text file I made up on the entrances, areas, and number of units. (the unit numbers are accurate for the hotel and armani residences - the other areas are best info I have)

The naming convention the plans refer to (and my label for the different areas) and number of units

- Walkway from entrance in the mall - Ground level - Observation deck lobby
--- Observation deck - level 124
- Podium zone C - Level 1 - Hotel entrance - facing ~ 0 degrees
--- Armani hotel - concourse to levels 8 and 38 39 (area 1) - 160 units
--- Armani residences - levels 9 to 16 (area 2) - 144 units
--- Hotel residences - levels 19 to 37 (area 3) - 342 units
- Podium zone B - Ground level - Residence entrance - facing ~ 240 degrees
--- Residences - levels 44 to 72 (area 4) - 354 units
--- Luxury residences - levels 76 to 108 (area 5) - 231 units
- Podium zone A - Concourse level (and level B1) - Office entrance - facing ~ 120 degrees
--- Boutique offices - levels 112 to 121, 125 to 135, 139 to 154 (area 6) - 37 levels

Hopefully more info will filter out on how the handovers are going and what areas are completed. Still no news at all on the office area yet.

For the world's tallest structure, it sure has a boring lighting scheme. I would have loved to see the different setbacks in a different color. Like what it looked like during the grand opening.

Such a grandiose structure, I can eyeball it all the time and still be amazed with its grandiosity.

Hi all.

Yes - Armani's minimalist style is definately not for everyone.
It's not really my thing either but it's not an issue as the hotel is waayyyy outa my price range.
I do think having the first Armani hotel as part of the burj is an asset. Somehow I don't think a Best Western would have been fitting for this magnificent structure.

Wow !!
Amazing Tower
Holy S***

Hi all.
My first attempt at a generic shameless bump post ...

..... Someone please give me a technical topic to discuss ....

..... PLEASE ...

Any news on how handovers are going ?
Are any offices leased yet ? or even completed ?
Are all the residential units for lease or rent ? verses purchased like a condo - I am pretty sure they are ...
Is "The Offices" open for business ? (called the office annex during construction)
Is "The Club" open for business ? (called the pool annex during construction) - I presume it is ...
Are the spire and pinnacle sections and tiers cleaned up yet ?
Are the festival lights only going to be turned on once or twice a year ?

Is Shane Carwin going to KTFO Brock Lesner tommorow night - god I hope so ... - ooops wrong thread for that one ...

What are exactly the festival lights (don't remember now)?

If you mean the strong strobe lights aligned in a row at the ages of each setback and around the spire, that flickers, then they turn them on every Thursday evening.

Seeing that i going to ask this: Burj Khalifa is completed, Armani apartments are open etc...
There is a possibility some apartments or offices are not completed yet (interior repairs, lights, painting, furniture etc)?

It is almost certain. At least I can't understand why they would keep it closed if they are ready. By doing so, they would lose profit.
