That's Quebec City, Canada, with the Chateau Frontenac.
Burj Dubai will be over 10 times as tall as the latter though.

And thanks for the picture of BD's top, Old Town Resident. The new vertical beams really stick out, and the tower is starting to look thin up there.

it's been looking thin since it was 400m. the hole idea was the building was to be very tall and slender

I agree with Joachim on the interpretation. The above answer on Imre was to be taken lightly. You guys got to loosen up and when you do loosen up some more.

Imre you bastard we're waiting for more of your fabulous pictures.

Thanks for the new pictures.

I keep thinking Old Town in Dubai is really the oldest part of Dubai. I was surprised to see that it's a new area that's made to look like it's old. I wonder where the real old part of Dubai is. If I visited Dubai in 1950, I wonder what we would see.

You donít have to go back to 1950 FM, the progress from every angle is immense.

Thanks a lot Imre for these beautiful pics!

Hmm, I always thought that they can build steel structures much faster than concrete ones...

No we don't, and the ones who have it are not allowed to make it public or show it to unauthorized persons.
