Imre: there is a change to see new interior photos from Burj Khalifa?

It's not really worth it at this time of year. Maybe dusk would be good though - I haven't been up in the dark yet.

I only went up to try out a new lens.

Yes, but the place didn't opened 'at this time of year'.

Remember on Jan 4th when you were shivering despite wearing that thick wool sweater

Hi all.

Picasa - ClarifyLearner - 10 05 27

I am going to go out on a limb here and say this is level 123 skylobby. I say this because of the label above the elevators saying 112 - 123. The shot could very well be from any one of those levels but I would think any level but the skylobby would be labelled for that level only. Also I think those are arrows pointing down above the doors (?)

The elevators in the shot are BO2 and BO3 with BO1 just to the left. They take office tenants down from 123. BO4 to BO6 are behind the photog on the left and are probably labelled 123 - 154 as they take tenants up from the skylobby. The express elevators that get them to 123 from level B1 are on the right but face the outside of the level as opposed to these that face in - one walks out of them then around a corner and down a short corridor to get to these elevators. These express elevators are the lower cab of the double decker's of which the upper cab takes visiters to the OD from the Ground level.

The finish of the floor, walls, and elevator doors looks good and the ceiling lighting is cool. I find it interesting that the finish details are so different from one area to another instead of the same old thing. Looks very well done in every interior shot I've seen, as expected for the WTS costing over 4 billion US dollars (by some estimates - I have an old break down totalling 3.78 B).

I think Imre took photos of this pool (or one like it) while under construction a couple years ago. I wonder if a person can move from the indoor part or the pool to the outdoor part by going through one of the two (mostly-underwater) "slots" in the wall?

Yes - this is exactly what the gaps in the wall are for, to allow you to move from the inside pool to the outside pool.

One more of these. I think I prefer it a little fatter like this
