They will install the same supports (as on the other corner of the building) as shown on this picture.
It will be used to fix sunshades in the corners

Some of the worst images of the BK I have seen, you would be an idiot if you paid for them.

The location that they where taken from is so accessable that anyone could of taken the shot,

The building is distorted,

Bloomingdale's,, shame...

Stu Williamson should stick to what he's good at - taking pictures of people.

Those are amongst the worst, most distorted photographs I've ever seen of the Burj Khalifa.

I was using that blackberry you lent me, sorry.. lol

No seriously the image isn't even center correctly / artistically.

Basically the guy has no experiance at landscape photography, thats what his rubbish photo's show.

If you want to buy art, of the Burj Khalifa either I would recommend G,, of course.. as an up and coming..

But seeing as Gerald is available for public to purchase, it would have to be

David Burdeny http://www.davidburdeny.com/,

fury should visit his Toronto Gallery

If you visit his website, you'll see this is part of a collection.

Think Gerald would agree, that is an real investment.

8x10 camera man..

His work sells for 4000 - 5000$ and holds a value.

Even my own snaps are better than his attempts..

or

This is a colour photograph with no processing, though it looks black and white.

Or am I wrong????

Hi Sale.
Unfortunately I live on the other side of the country.
When Gerald posted about him with his 8 by 10 around a year ago, I went to his site - impressive alright.

Hi guys.
Here are the only other 3 I have that are "colourful".
Click for much larger.

A partial of the concourse level and podium.

The Armani residence levels - 9 to 16 of tier 0.

Level 99 - first of tier 9.

The level 99 drawing may not be acurate as it came from the same place as the one from 113. isicman (who has first hand knowledge of this great structure) posted the one from 113 is not correct.

As I have no way of knowing if any of the 100 or so prints/drawings I have are acurate I chose to keep the 113 one in my pile. I wish I had a full official set of prints from Emaar - but alas - we work with what we have ...
I even requested a set but they never replied ...

Hi isic.
The corner in question already has had the supports for some time.

Perhaps they are installing the sunshades ?

OMG, those Stu Williamson shots are very bad indeed.

I should have used the RAW mode last time I went there for a photoshoot

WTF? The pics are really brilliant. Noone see the art in them? Really?

There is a difference between technical perfect pics and artistic pics. Artistic pics are much more difficult than technical perfect pics. That`s the reason for the high price.

I give you a tip. Look at the big pic for 20 seconds. It`s relaxing isn`t it? I don`t know why but this is extreme difficult to archieve in a pic.

I give you a hint: It's TOTALLY distorted proportionally.

That`s not a techincal documentation. The distortion is a part of the pics.

Yup - it's a part of the images, and it's why they look crap.
