LOL, where's that? I love how SZR just dissappears .... maybe just like the Metro it goes underground just before the creek. Probably it re-emerges somewhere in Sharjah.

Here is my Burj Dubai model, still not all details done but 90% of model is finished. Tried to do everything exact to real one.

Hi Dreamer.
Good work - some minor issues but all in all, looks good.

I see on their site some opuses sell for 300 (Major league baseball) and others for 5000 (F1). Now what makes me think the BK opus will be at the high end ...
Please take the time to scan your copy (page for page - ), when you get it, and post here.
No, really - I'm serious ...

As i remember Burj Khalifa i think has 3 major gates like in the photo below; this particurarly is for the Armani Hotel & Residence.
The other 2 are for the apartments and the rest offices/restaurants?

Access to restaurants is from the Hotel entrance, they are associated with the hotel anyway and it would be a security nightmare if restaurant clients had access to the residental and commercial part of the tower.

Of course the residential and commercial tenants of the tower can access the restaurants and other hotel venues without having to get out, making the round of the tower and re-entering from the hotel gate.

Hi Chris.
Here is something I compiled a while ago showing what areas each entrance provides access to.

- Walkway from entrance in the mall - Ground level - Observation deck lobby
--- Observation deck - level 124
- Podium zone C - Level 1 - Hotel entrance - facing ~ 0 degrees
--- Armani hotel - concourse to levels 8 and 38 39 (area 1) - 160 units
--- Armani residences - levels 9 to 16 (area 2) - 144 units
--- Hotel residences - levels 19 to 37 (area 3) - 342 units
- Podium zone B - Ground level - Residence entrance - facing ~ 240 degrees
--- Residences - levels 44 to 72 (area 4) - 354 units
--- Luxury residences - levels 76 to 108 (area 5) - 231 units
- Podium zone A - Concourse level (and level B1) - Office entrance - facing ~ 120 degrees
--- Boutique offices - levels 112 to 121, 125 to 135, 139 to 154 (area 6) - 37 levels

Hi Altin.
The At.mosphere restaurant may be the exception to that. As it is on level 122 the route up to it may be :
- office entrance - lower cab of the double decker lifts to 123 - stairs or lift down
I do agree on the security issues in having people enter from any other entrance than the hotel entrance so perhaps there is a route down to the concourse level from level 1 so patrons can still come in through the hotel entrance ?

Lastly - when does EID end ?

Fury,

EID is 3 days we can only know when it ends, when its starts! (if that makes sense)

Last day of Ramadan depends on the moon phase and is usually calculated a day before.

Last year it was 1 day more then expected because of cloud cover, so they couldn't make a decision.
