Hi all.

Hi Ford.

In short - I have nothing planned for them. I have near 85,000 files in my skyscraper folder - not just pics, but loads of info too. I have photo records of a dozen projects from around the world showing the entire construction phase. I don't worry about copyrights when I dload them because I'm not going to sell them or anything. I enjoy looking back on history. They also give me many angles to help answer questions and to bring up technical topics to post and discuss. Also I figure if I'm going to look at the pics or info - how hard is it to save at the same time ?

Hi DXB.

I have 2 mosaics of exactly as you describe. IIIRC Gerald made them. They are awesome. I could post if you like - I think Gerald is OK with posting them in here.

A couple questions if I may.
1 - when you say they have reached level 50, do you mean the first handovers or the handovers are complete up to there ?
2 - What level do you think they are up to in regards to completion of the works ?
3 - what percentage of occupancy do you think we have on levels 9 to 50 (or above) ?

Thanks DXB.

Ray.
Yes please, post it if possible.

Its hard to say because as they are going floor by floor, some people on earlier floors probably still haven't paid their last payment, I know 2-4 people who have just had their 50th floor apartments handed over.

I asked concierge about occupancy and he said it was doing really well ( maybe they are programmed to say that!) - From what I have heard its off to a slow start, but i think prices are to high at the moment for rental, and many people dont know the situation is it open? is it closed?

You cant just walk into the building if your a tenant looking, security is tight.

Do you know what was the name of the song that played in the background of the old website of Burj Khalifa? (BurjDubai.com then)
