I believe after the filming of MI4 on Burj Khalifa, because of the "advertising" and only on that tower, more hollygood movies will follow, start to film scenes in Burj Khalifa areas (interior or/and exterior areas)

The Observation Deck has been open for 10 1/2 months already. Prices vary from $27 for advance booking to $109 for on-the-spot. And yes the trip is more of an experience from the moment you step in after the tickets booth, then a simple view when you arrive up there.

my bad. thanks for the info. quite affordable actually. the pics of the structure look so surrreal like it came out of a sci-fi comics. can't believe that it's been operational for over 10 months already.

So embarrassed by that last photo.

It may well be an effective 35mm focal length of 1092mm, but the camera was on a tripod.

No excuse for not getting it straight.

*hangs head in shame*

Shilpa Shetty gifted an apartment in Burj Khalifa?

Husband Raj Kundra allegedly gifted the 19th floor flat for their wedding anniversary

By Bindu Suresh Rai | Published Tuesday, November 23, 2010

Quote:
Shilpa Shetty is supposedly the latest celebrity resident who will move into a neighbourhood near you very soon.

Reports coming in have suggested that the Bollywood actress and Britian’s “Celebrity Big Brother” reality show winner has been gifted an apartment on the 19th floor of Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. And the gift is by none other than her husband, billionaire entrepreneur Raj Kundra, who presented the keys to the star for their first wedding anniversary last week.

While no confirmation was forthcoming from property developer Emaar, Shetty at least tweeted about her arrival in sunny Dubai last evening, saying: “Landed In Dubai so needed this break jus wish I cud spk: (Gods way of telling me to tk a break (Shutup). Excelling at sign language must say! [sic]”

The actress has been diagnosed with pharyngitis on November 20 and has lost her voice since.

India’s Mid-day.com quoted a source close to the actress who confirmed the news, adding that Shetty herself would design the interiors of the apartment.

Okay those Tom Cruise pictures are really awesome, but for the last month it's pretty much all we've seen, so the thread has got quite boring, IMO. Is there anyone left in Dubai who'd like to take more photos of this beauty?
THANKS!

Those Tom Cruise pictures were taken by people in Dubai, the same ones who first posted them here (and that includes those UK & US media pics as well)

They've packed up and left now, so no more boring photos of one of the world's most famous people sat on top of the Burj!
