This New Year, Celebrate In Style At Level 124 Of Burj Khalifa

• At the Top, Burj Khalifa to host New Year’s Eve after-party
• Only 350 exclusive tickets available for the party
• Celebrations follow spectacular fireworks to ring in the New Year
• Arabic fusion band adds to the buzz of the event at the world’s tallest observation deck with an outdoor terrace

Dubai, UAE; December 28, 2010: When the spectacular firework display to ring in the New Year is over at Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, head straight for Dubai’s one of its kind New Year’s Eve after party at the most unique destination – At the Top, Burj Khalifa.

The world’s highest observation deck with an outdoor terrace is opening doors to an inimitable party experience – ‘Celebrate in Style’ - where guests can enjoy the first day of 2011 taking in unparalleled views of the city glittering in the sweeping spectacle of a million lights.

At the Top, Burj Khalifa’s New Year’s Eve after-party will be marked by a celebration of music, with an Arabic fusion band regaling the guests. Food and non-alcoholic beverages from The Address Dubai Mall will be served over the two-hour party from 1 am to 3 am. The ‘Celebrate in Style’ party will host up to 350 guests with the entry priced at AED550. The tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Counter, located in the Dubai Mall.

Mr Issam Galadari, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar Properties – Dubai Operations, said: “Celebrate in Style is a perfect complement to the spectacular fireworks that will mark the beginning of the New Year at Burj Khalifa. For the first time, we are opening doors to guests for the unique opportunity of viewing the panoramic vista of the city on the first day of 2011. A get-together At the Top, Burj Khalifa will be a perfect occasion for friends and family to get together and celebrate the joy of new beginnings.”

I assume that those "items" on Burj Khalifa are fireworks?

Live broadcast of Burj Khalifa New Year's Eve bash by DMI

World’s tallest building will play host to a spectacular fireworks display to ring in 2011

By Staff | Published Wednesday, December 29, 2010

To mark the ringing-in of 2011, Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) today announced it will broadcast to the world the impressive fireworks display that will benefit from the iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, as its centerpiece.

Viewers will be able to follow live broadcast of Dubai’s celebration on Dubai TV, Sama Dubai and Dubai One as well as a live stream on DMI’s website on www.dmi.ae/newyear.

DMI said that broadcasters across the globe will be able download a free transmission signal of the event provided DMI.

With its unique central geographical location, Dubai will be perfectly positioned at 20:00 GMT (Dubai GMT+4) to ring-in the New Year right in the middle of the global sequence after Sydney, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Mumbai, and before Moscow, Paris, London and New York.

The impressive fireworks display will last for three minutes commencing at 19:59:50GMT. The display will be preceded by a five-minute fire, water, and laser show on the Dubai Fountain, the world’s tallest musical performing fountain, situated at the foot of Burj Khalifa.

Dubai’s fireworks display, 4 hours after Hong Kong and 3 hours before Central Europe will neatly complement broadcasters’ programs carrying the New Year celebrations from the world capitals.

Hi Alex.
The highest (and only place the general public can go when not guests of the hotel, owners/guests of the residences, or workers of a company with office space) is the observatory on level 124 at 452.1 meters.

Happy Holidays All.

Ray.
Thanks, high enough but I hoped it is higher than 500 m or half of kilometer high!

Nice work.
I take it you weren't going for acuracy. Absolutely no offence intended. Perhaps that drawing is easier to make a paper model ?

Ray.

Thanks! I kinda was going for acuracy. Anyway there is already a paper model of it, just that it's not really accurate.

Between Residences and BK.Looking from the BK across the lake itself you will see two bridges to the left of the BK, go over the first one.

Road diversion signs are already up so getting close by car will be difficult.

Be there early as it will be chaotic with traffic and parking.
