Hi all.

The route up to At.mosphere IS express elevator from the office lobby to the office skylobby on level 123 then the staircase down to 122.
Confirmation through vids on youtube.
Still no good views of the skylobby yet.
Hopefully one of our Dubai photogs will go up for a bite - with camera in hand of course.

there seems to be lots of large areas of dirt in dubai around the newly built downtown. Looks pretty ugly.

Hi OTR.
Sweet - should be good.
Perhaps you could venture into off-limits areas as you did to get us the pinnacle shots while it was laying down on the podium.
That was classic man - won't be forgotten.

Hi Zapor.

Many plots / projects are not completed yet.
When all are done it will look good.

Burj Khalifa gold bar is towering investment

In a vertiginous reminder of the stratospheric prices gold can reach, Dubai's first gold ATM installed at the world's tallest building

By Keith J Fernandez | Published Thursday, January 27, 2011

Quote:
Dubai’s love of gold has reached new heights as what is likely to be the highest vending machine in the world became operational on Wednesday.

Visitors to the Burj Khalifa can now take home a souvenir of their visit in the shape of a gold bar emblazoned with the logo of the tallest building on the planet.

The first Gold To Go machines in the emirate were installed at tower’s observation deck and in the souvenir shop at the adjoining Dubai Mall on Wednesday. Each dispenses four different types of gold bars, in sizes ranging from 2.5 grams to one ounce (28.3g).

very nice. but i think the clouds on the top right ruin it slightly. it looks weird having only one with clouds and all the others clear. i think if you are going to have clouds it needs to be on more than one. otherwise it'd look nicer without the clouds :P

Those photos by gerald were indeed great, and especially the night one with the fountains.

@Sairen: I think that for now is only in the shops in Burj Khalifa at the top...
