Those luxury cars in the shade of Burj Khalifa are part of Exotic Cars Dubai expedition?

Truth is skyscrapers are retarded and anti modern building shapes, the "moral excuse" behind building them, is that they would increase density in terms of square meters builded per square meters available at the city level, the truth is that this is plainly and mathematically false, and that skyscrapers are nothing but building some vulgar versions of Churches or Mosque towers, besides being a total waste of energy both for building and running them. And churches or mosque towers do not pretend to be useful with flats or offices in them, they are/were builded for what they are and not meant to be the generic shape for housing buildings.
Skyscrapers= vulgarity of the irrational puritan pseudo ultra utilitarianist mindset to the max
That's basically it, you didn't know ? Ignorance on this point is a bit strange !!

isn't this tower a bit lonely for his height/ dimensions ? They should build something comparable in site and measure

It is absolutely incorrect to say that skyscrapers are a waste of energy.

If NY needs 1000 extra dwellings for people to live in, what's more energy efficient? 1000x2 story houses, or one 800ft skyscraper?

If you're not a fan of skyscrapers, you're deffo on the wrong forum.

You should look up the work of Lionel March and Leslie Martin (Cambridge in the sixties), skyscrapers, especially for housing, are indeed highly suboptimal building forms compared to slabs and court yard buildings, when you optimize square metters builded and natural light in buildings rooms.
Skyscrapers as generic housing building shapes are therefore, indeed, retarded anti modern naive sci fi junk childish projections, basically, not much more (at the south of non construtible area makes perfect sense)...
The density "moral excuse" is just plainly false, that is all, at least if you want some, do them without that lame false excuse.
And if you compute the FAR (floor area ratio) for Dubai, I'm sure it's indeed much lower than the one of London or Paris for instance, as to NYC most towers are office buildings, so can be much thicker than housing, and the problem is a bit different (even if the basic results are the same), and most housing NYC buildings aren't towers.
And of course, skyscrapers are also highly energy inefficient, and any amount of greenwashing won't change the real figures there.
