Huh? You don't need more money then visiting any other foreign place.

Debatable. Travelling to say, Ireland is cheaper than visiting to Northern Ireland purely based on the exchange rate. Luckily the Dirham is worth much less than the USD or British Pound. Depends on prices of hotels and transportation after that.

You are almost sounding like the guy that said: ''Wow, $1 = 100 (insert local currency), I would live like a King there with just a few dozens of dollars a day.''

... yeah, what I'm saying is the exchange rate is not that important, not to mention the dirham is pegged with the USD anyway.

Oh no, I unlike that man understands exchange rates. Consider Japan, despite the fact that 1 CDN is equal to 85 Yuan, I would still be hardpressed to make a living in Japan because it is very expensive in places.

I think what ironalbo meant was more about travel and living. That can be pricey.

Once again, visiting Dubai is not more expensive then visiting other places.

Depends where you live. It's more expensive if you're further away obviously, but you're right hotel prices aren't too bad. However produce is more expensive there then in North America, and many new condo's can be rather pricey.

Not at all my friend....Dubai is widest varities of options to live ,shopping and roaming.....If you want to live cheaper then go to Sharjaha , Ajman from where you can come to Dubai.......Also spending your money for shopping depends upon from where you purchase the things.....Transporation by Bus and Metro to any other place is as easy as like your home town.....

The price of 100 Dirhams (or 20 euros) for 1 ticket i dont think that is too expensive at least for Burj Khalifa and the city of Dubai.
@charles: The location is in level 124, at the top of Burj Khalifa .

You can also book it at Dubai mall for the next day at that price. Same day costs 400 AED if I remember correctly.
