Hi all.

Great shots Altin.

Here's a link to a 35 megapixel pano. A great shot though there is a small stiching error. I use filedropper so the full size can be accessed- 19 MB. Sorry - I don't recall the photog.

Here's a link to version 6.4 of my plan , etc. for those interested or who have old versions (Like Blizzy).

Great stuff as always, fury. The only thing missing is the elevator plan

So, this means that unless Tianjin 117 will have an office floor in the last 18 meters (which is unlikely, as this is the diamond part) the Burj will hold the record.

So I was more right than I thought when I said the Burj will have a good 10 year or so run as tallest. As it is it will hold more than just the pinnacle tallest, for even the 636 meter roof record may hold.

However, it will not and already does not hold the floor space record for a supertall, giving some insight into it's perhaps vanity.

Hi Blizzy.

Thanks man.
Unfortunately the only full elevator schedule I have is too blurry to be fully readable. Though I think I can figure it out with the other bits and pieces I have - I may work on that soon.

Hi Miami.

The CTBUH no longer recognizes the roof height as a criteria - it is too much of a grey area.
Where does this 636 meter roof height even come from ? I've heard this figure a few times. It is incorrect. The BK has 4 tiers that are called roof 1 to 4 respectively - they are 19 to 22. The top of tier 22 is at 730.10 meters - this is what I would call the roof height.

The design wasn't going for the floorspace record and all supertalls involve some ego and vanity.

I like the Burj Celery.

And 636 comes from Accurapedia

But really i'll bet it's the first roof tier, over the 160, 162, OR 163 floor, all of which wikipedia cites as the floor count.

The issue of numbering floors above the tallest offices is kind of blurry IMO. The lowest roof height I would say had to be where the pinnacle starts. How long the pinnacle is, anyway?

Hi Blizzy.

The numbering of the levels and sections above the offices is crystal clear - as clear as the levels below. The info in my plan is accurate.

Tier 22 is named roof 4 / spire 1 so the roof is where the spire begins - 730.1 m. That is a debatable point for sure. I have posted long ago on a half dozen heights that could justifiably be called 'the roof'.

The pinnacle above the spire is 49.9 meters high. The bottom tier of it (tier 27) is 2.1 m. in diameter and that pipe extends down internally to section 20B another 92.8 m.
So the pinnacle, including the internal pinnacle pipe is 142.7 meters high.

I did up an elevator schedule using the blurry schedule, drawings, and pics. I have 45 of the 48 lifts figured out for the main structure. I have the levels served for the other 3 but not the names.
The office annex, now called 'The Offices' has 6 lifts, of which I have the levels but not the names.
The health annex now called 'The Club' has the other 2 or 3 lifts depending on which source you go by. Various sources have 56 or 57 lifts in total. This will be open to the public once opened so perhaps the number of lifts and what levels they serve will become apparent.

I also have the levels for the 8 escalators but again, not the names.

I would like to have it fully completed, but that's the best I could do - took most of the day.

Fury - fantastic spreadsheet. Well done!

Any chance of adding on the height to every level?

Hahaha.

Why do Hotel HA1,2,3 stop at a mech level, but are not indicated as being service elevators?
