The lifts of the building can be considered as the railway network of the city

Yes it was taken by me.
I always wanted to see a skyscraper splitting the clouds and the Burj Khalifah granted me the wish.

On the subject of cloud-splitting and HDR...

Original, adjusted. One shot. No HDR necessary:

Not Imre's pictures though.
I just copied the pics from the Flickr

I am not using the HDR , its just fake and waste of time..reality is much better

You are right. I tried it for a week or so but never was happy with the results. Even in internet it`s difficult to find good examples. The pictures you showed us are okay, but beeing creative produces much better results.

Sensors are nice and clean now. At least until the next time I take the cameras out to the desert again and they get wrecked

This building just keeps amazing me, when I stand beneath a 80metre building and think that this is over 10x taller, my brain starts acting strange.

So many good photos keep coming in this thread. Guess I'm going to really have my work cut out for me when I get a chance to go to Dubai and *try* to call my work "pro" . Wow.

Does anyone happen to have an idea at what floor Bangkok's shot looking straight down was taken from? 124th F?
