Hi Real.

Yes - from the OD on level 124.
It has gaps in the cladding so one can stick your camera out to get shots like that. The At.mosphere restaurants on 122 don't have gaps in the cladding.

Untill the office zone has tenants, those are the only 2 levels we see shots taken from, that high up.

Ray.

I'm amazed we haven't heard of someone dropping their camera yet. It has to have happened, surely?!

From my account on deviantART:

I shot this through an airplane window on a hazy day at noon against the light. One day I shall have better conditions, insha'allah

Hi Altin

Hmm, I guess you're right - it could have been much worse
But it's a crop, I had to crank up the contrast and with "colors" this image looks quite dull. B&W was the saviour

I am just having this perfect setting in mind, you know: Sunrise on a clear day, great shadows, me in the back of a helicopter with a full tank and its doors wide open... (drooling)

Burj suicide.

Apparently jumped from the 147th floor, and landed on the 108th.

/edit
Tragic of course, but I guess that probably sets another couple of records. Highest suicide jump from a building, and also the highest suicide landing.

Can anyone confirm the levels that the terraces are on? I'm sure it's in here somewhere.

I've updated my BK gigapan with what I think are correct level numbers for the upper terraces relevant to this story -
