Interesting pictures, it looks like Dubai is the flattest city in the world

Its a massive project, if it was being built anywhere else it wouldn't be any where near complete as it is now

Around 200m to go and you ask when will it top out?

They want to T/O at the end of the year but there may be several reasons why the construction may be slowed or maybe they will go faster than they they thought. It is a unique structure and 200m is a lot, so we can only speculate about the real T/O time...

I have not a really job thats why I have time and this is my hobby as well.
Just going to somewhere and take pics, I am always on the road if I am at home either sleeping or surfing on the internet

I know this thread is about Burj Dubai and see pics showing surrounding city....also mostly new highrise. Is their any old preserved Dubai?.....as it used to be before the development boom ? Maybe there is more Dubai threads but just asked after seeing the demolition pics on here yesterday.

Most certainly there is an "old" Dubai - mostly on the other side of the creek, where the traditional souks, dhows and older buildings can be found.
