You can only book 30 days advance, but is it really necessary, my tour group changed our schedule after we reach Dubai, pretty sure she booked the tickets on the day like just 2 hours earlier.

Dense fog sweeps the emirates

Thick fog envoloped parts of the UAE on Wednesday morning, causing traffic jams on key roads as visibility dropped to dangerous levels in some areas

Sears is fat. No wonder it was originally called "the pig" .
1454ft is NOT short so dont make out like it is. The Burj Khalifa has +-700ft of space which is not used for offices/residence, so really we are looking at a 2000ft building which becomes very thin 3/4 up that, compared to 50+ floors of 60x60 office floors on the sears and the the remaning 58floors which gradualy decrease width. No suprise really.

Septemebr and October are known for being foggy in Dubai as the night time temperatures start to fall away as the region enters Autumn. The same happens in April when the temperatures start to climb again.

I would say Dubai can expect anywhere between 10-20 foggy mornings each year.

Yes. Ever heard of fog? There's quite often fog in Dubai (judging by the number of fog photos in this thread )

It's a shame the Hollywood directors portrayed the weather in Dubai like that. We NEVER have dust storms like that. In fact, in the movie, the storm was showing to be coming in from the area to the North of Dubai, which is partly sea and other cities in the Northern Emirates, in reality

We do have a lot of dust and sand storms, as it is a desert, but never with that level of ferocity or intensity. Never ever.
