I have to see this tower myself one day, I MUST! Funny, the tallest building I've ever seen is the Shard and I think that's pretty tall, but this will simply blow the mind!

The shard is only like 300m, but if you are standing just below the tower, it probably wouldn't feel a lot different.

suppose you stand below it, like 50m away, to see the tip of a 300m tower, the you will need to tilt the head about 80deg above the horizon, to see BK, it will be 86deg abvove the horizon, there is not a lot of different, unless you put the 2 tower side by side.

if you are stand further away, like 300m away, you will notice a lot of difference.

but to be fair, it is almost side by side as one of the roof/balcony is about 300m, so we can get a feel of what 300m is like.

So while sitting here waiting on data to copy to a new HDD, I was bored and realized that there's no awesome "Burj-in-my-City" photo for Detroit. Hence, made one (kinda quickly). For all you D fans, here you go.

Some of the most beautiful pictures I've seen of Dubai. My guess these were taken from the Index.

Dubai, UAE,

Does appear that way. Either that, or the Rose Rotana. In any case, they are stunning!
