They didn't mention, that the picture was taken by Imre ;-(

Maybe Imre should do something against it....
I have a "sneaking suspicion" that the actual article in Construction Week will indeed credit Imre

The old one was more like 40km. The new site is approx 13.32 miles from BD, that is 21.31 km.

I am not sure with the exact location so it may be +- 300m or so.

Post # 3310 This shot is unbelievable good.....i have waited for such shot nearly 3 months....many many thanks......it looks more nd more like on the renders made by malec about 1,5 year ago!

btw: i dont know if it was asked before, but, will the BD spire act also like an antenna? or will it only be a part of its architecture?

It's almost too tall. LOL. I love Dubai's skyline. A few more of this size and it won't look so out of place. It is a very sweet design for something so huge.

Did you try just phoning to the chief editor at ConstructionWeek to make a complaint and ask for reparations ?
Surely the editor doesn't know about this. Publishing professionals are used to acknowledging picture rights and it probably just is the article writer that thought he could get away with this.

In that case you would at least get a financial compensation for the damage, or ask for an erratum to be made in the next issue.

In any case, courts are very efficient regarding that kind of infringement, and your primacy on these shots would be easy to demonstrate (their pictures are cropped from yours, and not the reverse !).

Vincent.
