Ahh, I see. Stainless steel will look great to top it off. Thanks for your reply.

Some of the best shots we've had have been when BD has majestically risen out of the fog and obviously it'd be amazing to have a chance to see a view like that in person. Due to all the changing of air temperatures and the coastline, it seems to be somewhat common (at least several times a month if not more).
I'm sure this is just as much off topic as the political climate.

I don't see a 4th steel level there.
Do you?

I think we are going to miss Imre.
I'm not so sure the many negative comments about his chosen new place of residence may have driven him away?
I know he claims ISP probs but I'm not so sure.

His update photos were gold.

Actually he said he is still moving his stuff into his new place. Too busy to take pictures! As for that picture...look closer. The fourth level is (partially) there.

My 2 bedroom apartment is only about 340 sq meters, the area in that steel section is much bigger than it looks in these pictures, wow, almost unbelievable.

I'm sorry if this was so off topic as to warrant such a baseless quote! I had asked because I enjoy photography and was curious about the weather because I plan to go to Dubai and visit this tower soon hopefully. I would love to get shots of the same quality as we've seen on this forum. Really, thank you for making everyone, including myself, feel welcome here.

I know this thread does put up with a lot of off topic nonsense but to those taking time to answer real and legitimate questions instead of negatively presuming every post is "off topic", I thank you.

On the big picture posted here above, it looks like a forest there, dense and not that young, how come? have they planted all that recentley? looks like it has to be atleast 10 years, hahaa they never cease to amaze me

the panorama shot of the skyline is awesome, the burj is like a kindergarten teacher with all those "small" babies around

Hi FM. Holy smokes - you have a 3400 sq. foot 2 bedroom apartment ? That is huge.

Here is a very crude but somewhat acurate representation of the size of tier 15 and tier 18. I chose these 2 because they are roundish.

Cul perhaps you have some actual measurements ? If not I think these are reasonably acurate.

This thing might look thin at the top but it is still way bigger than most houses at tier 18.

When you look at the last skyline picture posted in post # 3992, imo the BD looks too massive on it, even with 200m more it would look way too massive. I think that it will be higher than 819m.

That's the Al Khor Natural Reserve. The greenery is natural (AFAIK) and those white birds are flamengos.

thats great fury, pretty accurate. its probably closer comparing to circle.
so 450sqm @ tier15,sounds right. still 240sqm @ t18, thats still sizable. the top floor of my house measures 12mx12m or 144sqm, and its big, so double that @ t18 is quite good size for a boutique office. would be amazing up there.
great pix
