heres a different comparison. just to compare with ESB and former WTC
i didnt put outline of burj dubai ,only current built form.
Also the current height of burj dubai is 182m/600ft above its lev124 observation deck!

Yes I thought about that but would need the technical expertise advised.

Would be a great view for the spire being jacked up and the world record fireworks display promised for this new year.

bollox, all he ever posted was contradictory information, the champion of this thread is Imre, no one here has been any where near as dedicated as him, our other Dubai based forummers follow closely behind, then Culwulla. Oh my!!

Your pic definitly shows how tall the "neo" "ESB" is!!!

And when the 630/650 Meter thresholds are breached, then this structure is part off history.

After 700/800 Meters it will be made out off stuff off legends. Just like the great pyramids off Gizeh.

oh! it's much darker that I imagined....but I like it though.
Its a nice contrast to the rest of the building.
