Yes good point there. I'd probably say because of the height of the building they wouldn't want birds and sand blowing into the apartment through a window and you wouldn't really want anything to fall out those windows! Plus the winds up there would be so strong it would make a mess of the apartment and the window. But who knows we'll have to wait and see...

It looks like you could stay the same for the Trump Tower in Chicago. Interesting question.

Would it be possible to tell me if a topping-out ceremony is planned, and when.
Cheers.

I know it's not denigrating. But it certainly brightens my day

As the saying goes 'A closed mouth gathers no feet'

While i remember.
A show called Big, Bigger, Biggest is on next Tuesday night at 8pm on Five in the UK. This week was about how airports got bigger with huge feature on the new Heathrow terminal 5.
Next week is all about tallest buildings in the world with what looks like a large BD feature with what looked like quite recent pictures!!
Dont miss it if you are in the UK!!

One dead in Dubai fireworks factory explosion
Last Updated : Wednesday 26 Mar, 2008 -
print this article email this article post your comments

Plumes of thick black smoke could be seen for miles around after the blast in Al Quoz and schools in surrounding areas were evacuated.
It is unclear what caused the explosion, but eyewitnesses said it sounded "like a bomb" and the force of the explosion smashed windows in surrounding buildings.
