alot of people think 600m+ but thats mainly because of the old imperial measurment of 2000ft (610m).
We still only have 3 bldgs uc over 600m. not like were inundated.
but we have a few now over 500m.
i would love to have a 500m+ section on the forum. half a kilometre high is a real acheivement.
As for superduper tall and the next height mark should be 800m+ metric or 805m which is half a mile imperial.
1km mark is too high. we may not get one for a while.

Great idea, where can I sign??!!

600m is a nicer, rounder height It's double the supertall height of 300m, just as a supertall is double the 150m height of a skyscraper. Doesn't that have a neat symmetry?

Besides the three 600m plus buildings U/C there's one more in prep and eight more proposals:

MANILA | Pagcor Tower | 655m (App)
SAO PAULO | City Tower | 650m (Pro)
SEOUL | Sangam DMC Landmark Tower | 640m (App)
SEOUL | Korean Rail Corp Tower | 615m (App)
MOSCOW | Russia Tower | 612m (Prep)
TOKYO | Sumida Tower | 610m (App)
INCHEON | Incheon Towers | 610m (App)
DOHA | Oryx Tower | 600m (Pro)

and of course:

AUSTRALIA | Solar Tower | 600m (App)

And for sure there will be more and taller proposals in the future, and plenty to discuss!

Build more parks in the middle of the desert? That's as insane as building an entire city there.

You do know that India has the largest middle class, population-wise, out of all countries; that's quite a racist statement your making there. The Indian economy has the potential to eclipse Dubai's current development as its economy is 113x as large based on current estimates.

It might not have been racist but it was quite insulting to anyone from India. I understand that you are all "RAH RAH RAH DUBAI DUBAI" but you should calm down.

Those top cement floors with almost no floor leading away from the core are not going to be inhabitable are they? If so what for?
